Sir Alex Ferguson is set to be Manchester United manager once again.But the legendary boss is not replacing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the Old Trafford hot seat, he will instead take charge of United’s Treble winners in a replay of the 1999 Champions League final.Club chiefs are hoping to organise a rematch of the famous final to be played on May 26, 2019 – the 20th anniversary of United beating Bayern to complete their remarkable Treble.4

And, according to The Sun, Sir Alex is ready to manage his former charges in the one-off match as long as his health allows him to. The 77-year-old suffered a brain haemorrhage last year which kept him in hospital for an extended period of time, though he has returned to attending Manchester United’s home matches on a regular basis since September.He also visited United’s Carrington Training Ground to speak to the players, by invitation of Solskjaer – who scored the winning goal in the 1999 final.4
