Its my understanding that is a direct instruction from Ralph Krueger, the chairman who is now very much in charge of the day-to-day running of the club, he wants him to play a much more active role.Im not sure thats going to sit particularly comfortably with Mark Hughes.Throughout his managerial career, Hughes has always had a very close-knit coaching staff, and suddenly hes had someone thrusted on him who he doesnt necessarily want to use, and that would probably undermine his position.3

It wouldnt surprise me, Certainly in the short term, that if Mark Hughes does lose his job Kelvin Davis and Radhi Jaidi, another former player who is currently in charge of the Under-23s, would get the job on a caretaker basis.
