North and South Korea have made a joint bid to host the 2023 Women’s World Cup, with football’s world governing body FIFA confirming the submission of a total nine proposals for the tournament.The other bids come from Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Japan, New Zealand and South Africa, which means four of football’s six confederations – Africa, Asia, Oceania and South America – are represented in the contest.1
