UEFA said the investigation “will focus on several alleged violations of FFP that were recently made public in various media outlets”.City released a statement on Thursday saying they welcomed the investigation as the accusations are entirely false. Speaking ahead of their home clash with Watford on Saturday, Guardiola said: “I think the club made a statement yesterday. I can’t add more than that.“The club is open and hopefully it can finish as soon as possible.
