Tottenham have finally opened their new stadium after 690 days of waiting.Ticket-holders have flocked to their new 62,062-seater to watch their side in action at their new home for the first time – albeit nine months later than expected.Crystal Palace are the first visitors to the new 1billion arena – and Spurs have unveiled a special shirt to mark the momentous occasion.

The massive wall – 17,000 people – and the pitch are magnificent.“After all this waiting around I’m sure these players are desperate just to get out and play.“I’ve played in massive stadiums where they have the track and the crowd is too far away.”
