Rooney and his wife Coleen brought their four sons to the event in Washington DC.The 33-year-old was reportedly personally invited by the president to the party, which was also attended by Ivanka and Vanessa Trump and their children.Sources told The Sunthat Wayne, Coleen, and their sons Kai, nine, Klay, five, Kit, two, and nine-month-old Cass were given a tour of Trump’s private quarters.A source said: Coleen and Wayne were stunned when they received a personal invite from Donald inviting them to the White House.2

It wasnt political. For them this was a chance to go inside one of the most iconic buildings in the world and give their children this experience of being there for the Christmas party, which is always spectacular.They were also given a guided tour of Presidents Trumps private rooms but the Oval Office was off-limits.Rooney is currently enjoying something of an Indian summer this late in his career, scoring goals for fun in MLS with DC United. After leaving Everton in the summer to venture across the pond, Rooney scored 12 goals and recorded six assists to lift the club from the bottom half into the Play-off places.Despite his heroics, the minnows were unable to reach the fabled MLS Cup.
